One of the things I find most difficult about maintaining a healthy work out schedual is dealing with my ever changing shifts. During the summer I do shift work at the local hospital... which means that my scheudal is constantly changing and shifting, and both my sleep and eating patterns are thrown way off. The worst part of it is that it means sleeping through free swim at the pool and through my regular exercise time.
I find it discouraging to be so constantly thrown out of a schedual that helps me get things done and I often find myself just skipping workouts on these days since I feel so tired and "off".
I know work and school make working out difficult for everyone, what are some of the strategies that you use to get around it? What frusterates you the most?
